Who We Are

This practice was built by combining two disciplines that are usually run separately: deep multicultural marketing expertise and rigorous UX research methodology.

Two firms, one focus

Tejido Insight exists as a joint effort between an established multicultural marketing practice and an established user experience research practice, brought together specifically because neither discipline on its own tells the whole story. Marketing expertise without rigorous research risks confirming assumptions rather than testing them. Research methodology without deep cultural fluency risks measuring the wrong things entirely.

Bringing both under one engagement means clients get insight that is both culturally grounded and methodologically sound, rather than choosing between the two.

Multicultural marketing leadership

The multicultural marketing side of the practice is led by a team with decades of combined experience guiding major national brands toward genuine, lasting relationships with culturally diverse consumers, including leadership roles within industry bodies focused specifically on multicultural marketing effectiveness.

That depth of industry-level experience means engagements start from an already sophisticated understanding of how multicultural marketing succeeds or fails, rather than starting from first principles on every project.

UX research leadership

The research side of the practice is led by a team with two decades of experience advising major companies on user interface design, product design, and user research across web, mobile, and emerging platforms, using both qualitative and quantitative methods depending on the question at hand.

Combined with the marketing side's cultural depth, this gives every engagement a research foundation that would be difficult for either discipline to build entirely on its own.

That research background spans well beyond any single platform or method, giving the team a broad enough base of experience to pick the right methodology for a given question rather than defaulting to whichever method the team happens to know best.

Why the combination matters

Plenty of firms can run a research study. Plenty of firms understand multicultural marketing. Very few sit at the intersection of both, which is exactly the gap this practice was built to close. A client working with us gets researchers who already understand the cultural context going in, rather than a general UX team learning the basics of a specific cultural segment for the first time on a live client engagement.
